My role as editor on a photobook that was part of an RMIT assessment, combining advanced editing and photography students, was a positive experience. I worked with Patrick Marriott who wanted to pay tribute to his 80-year-old grandfather, a life-long farmer who has been an important role model for Patrick.
Patrick was confident about his images, but found the writing process more challenging. Prompting and suggesting a variety of angles proved a satisfying role that I was able to write about and share with my own writing and editing community.
